A Little About Me
Growing up, I was always involved in sports. I was a cheerleader from a young age, as well as a competitive equestrian. I also spent a lot of time around my older brother who played travel ice hockey, and pretty much every other sport. Competing in and traveling around for sports kept me very busy, and I found myself often reaching for quick, convenience foods.
I fell prey to diet culture at a young age and spent years trying to make myself smaller and restrict foods that I loved. Once I got to college, I realized I didn’t want to live like that anymore.
As a South Florida native, I received my undergraduate degrees as well as my Master’s from The Florida State University (Go ‘Noles!) where I first began my love for working with athletes.
Now, I use my formal education, as well as years of experience working with athletes just like you, to educate and empower athletes to fuel their bodies for performance and build healthier relationships with food. No diets, no non-sense, just simple tools to help athletes at all levels of nutrition knowledge gain that competitive edge.
